Dunkin’ Donuts will give customers who purchase a beverage, one free donut of their choice this Friday to mark National Donut Day 2015. Donuts make you, smile, bring joy, and bring people together but, do you know the history behind National Donut Day? National Doughnut Day was instituted in 1938 to commemorate Salvation Army workers who surprised soldiers with doughnut deliveries. What an awesome act of love and support!
